Project Objective: create engaging social media video content to boost Arnold Laver’s brand visibility among football fans and younger demographics.

Challenge: increase engagement with Sheffield United supporters through unique content that resonates with both the football community and younger audiences.

Our approach

Concept development

We analysed successful content from other football clubs and decided on a fun, competitive quiz game format that involved Sheffield United’s first-team players.

Production process

Planning: brainstorming and game design.

Filming: on-location shoot with players, highlighting both the quiz and the custom-designed timber board.

Editing: creation of a three-part video series, including a highlights reel for broad distribution.

Creative elements: incorporating Arnold Laver’s timber products directly into the game to subtly integrate the brand with the content.

The solution

Open House Pictures decided to look at what other clubs had done successfully in the past and developed an exciting quiz game.

This involved answering questions and kicking a ball against a timber board that Arnold Laver designed. We produced three videos, a part one, part two and highlights for them to post across all platforms.
